The Introduction seminar organized within the DEMO consortium was held at the University of Basque Country in Bilbao (Spain) on February 14-16, 2024. In this event, all lead researchers and doctoral candidates had the opportunity to meet in-person for the first time and discuss about their research projects and how they could start collaborating. The agenda for this meeting is attached below.
This seminar was coordinated by the SUPREN research group at the Engineering School of Bilbao, and it consisted, on the one hand, on detailed talks given by lead researchers about different procedures to synthesize MOFs and what analytical techniques can be used to evaluate their physicochemical and catalytic properties. Additionally, they introduced different modelling approaches and machine learning guidelines to the doctoral candidates. On the other hand, doctoral candidates introduced themselves and explained the goal they want to reach in their research projects.
